Although PocketPCForms may be integrated with larger internal information management systems, it is a complete solution. The system includes everything that is necessary to develop, deploy and manage collected information.

Familiar User Interface

To make the system easier to learn and use, PocketPCForms Professional was designed with an interface and many features similar to that found in the popular Microsoft Outlook program.

Data Review/Editing

Manage a list of forms containing collected information. Click on a form to review the collected information or to edit it with the built-in emulator.

Integration with Microsoft Office

One mouse click creates a Word Template which is built upon the XML Schema for a particular form. Format the Word Template for readability or perhaps to comply with organizational requirements. Then, each time someone fills out a form, one mouse click lets you “pump” the collected data into your word template which can be saved or sent by Email.

Integrated Form Designer

Rich dynamic forms can be created by anyone and without programming. Select from a menu of "smart controls" to populate the form with text-entry fields, drop-down list boxes, check boxes and more. Since the designer looks and feels like an actual Pocket PC, it is easy to see how the form will work once deployed.

Signature Capture

One of the most exciting "smart controls" prompts users to sign their name into the Pocket PC form using their own handwriting just as they might do at the grocery store.

Export XML and XML Schema

One mouse click creates an XML file that contains the information for any filled-out form. Using a similarly produced XML Schema, organizations may develop solutions that utilize the data collected through PocketPCForms.
