PocketPCForms for PocketPC has been improved and now goes under the name of PocketPCForms Viewer and the server component has now been re-branded PocketPCForms Server.

This latest version of PocketPCForms includes numerous User Interface and Technical enhancements:

New end user features:

• Template Designer includes new Property Grid which provides more properties for each control
• New properties for all controls including "Required", "Dock", and others
  Template Designer includes new option: Required fields must be filled out in order.
• New Hidden Field control may be used to carry hidden information
  Signature control adds ability to lock and set stroke thickness/color
• Image Capture control now allows sketching over imported image
• DatePicker control allows for empty dates
• Numeric entry control allows for empty numbers
• Mobile software includes option to jump directly to a tab on detail form

New technical features:

• New xml format for PocketPCForms (.xpf and .xpt) documents are much easier to parse
• New FormBuilder class allows programmers to create and modify forms
• Images and Signatures on device now saved in a much smaller jpeg format instead of the large bmp format
• Various performance improvements including form caching on device.
  Now leveraging .Net 2.0 Framework on device.
